Dauphin Island Elementary Elects the 2009-10 Student Council

  

This year the students at Dauphin Island Elementary launched a competitive campaign for the 2009-10 Student Council.  The campaign was held September 14-18 with the students running for an office presenting speeches on Friday, September 18.  The students worked to create posters, book marks, pencils, buttons, campaign slogans, and speeches to convince their peers that they would be the best candidate for the Student Council.  This activity proved to be a valuable one for our students as they learned about campaigns and the election process.  We are proud to introduce our 2009-10 Student Council.
