Dauphin Island Elementary Enjoys
Celebrating Red Ribbon Week
This year we celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 26-30 with a different theme for each day. The students brought their favorite teddy bear to school on Wednesday, because "Drugs are Unbearable!" and on Thursday, the entire school came dressed as different professions, because "Drug free I can be anything I want to be!" We had several miniature professionals at our school on this day. From doctors to lawyers, teachers and even a dolphin trainer, the students had a wonderful time dreaming of what they may become one day! The staff even enjoyed changing professions for the day, but most of all our students have learned the importance of staying drug free!
